2012: GOTIKA made 35mm and 16mm film and sound restoration services for Filem Negara Malaysia (Currently FINAS). The total amount was about 120 hours of film and 120 hours of sound restored with the corresponding approval of technical quality control.
2014: GOTIKA made 35mm and 16mm film and sound restoration services for FINAS. The total amount was about 150 hours of film and 150 hours of sound restored with the corresponding approval of technical quality control.

2012: The services were conducted in the time and manner agreed to deliver a constant flow of 120 hours (2K Film Restoration by hand) in 10 weeks.
2014: The services were conducted in the time and manner agreed to deliver a constant flow of 150 hours (2K Film Restoration by hand) in 20 weeks.

Sound Restoration
2012: 120 hours of original 35mm and 16mm optical soundtrack was scanned at our facilities.
2014: 170 hours of original 35mm and 16mm optical soundtrack was scanned at client facilities.
The restoration and mastering process includes a dynamic range enhancement to improve low and high frequencies. Once extracted the clicks and crackles different filters were individually configured focused on remove each of the noise profiles. Resonant frequencies, peaks, and average values were controlled to insert the material into the transmission protocol standards required by the client.
